～My first experience story～～
I had my first surgery and hospitalization the other day.
It's a tonsillectomy.with chronic tonsillitis.
A few times a year, when I get a little sick, I can't move for about 4 days due to a severe pain in my throat and a high fever.
that was repeated.
My tonsils were originally huge, so I had them cut.
I was hospitalized at the beginning of the month and had surgery, and it's been about two weeks since the surgery...
I can't eat normal food at all, and I don't feel anything sweet (dysgeusia)
Post-operative stomatitis (because I held down my tongue with an instrument) was the hardest.
I want to eat tonkatsu quickly and it's stressful. (I won't allow Christmas chicken to be tasteless!)
I happened to have only a private room available, so I was able to have a private room party.
I didn't feel so inconvenient, but... (Lonely party because no visitation due to corona)
I shudder to think that it would have been a large room. (Yanase is nervous)
Also, I am grateful to the nurse and the doctor in charge (she was a woman, who called me Oko-chan behind the scenes).
It's amazing, medical people.
I never want to be hospitalized again, but it was a good experience.
From now on, it should be cured with a normal cold.It's safe.
