Let me first explain why I wanted to write about this.
Some of the women who visit our branches have experienced self-harm,

Because there are people like that around you.
A woman with a history of self-harm is a bit... there are men too.

In general, more women than men
It seems that there are many cases of mental instability related to hormones.
Typical examples are PMS and maternity blue.
Of course, just because you're a man doesn't mean you should never self-harm.

By the way, self-harm has different names depending on the location.

・Arm cut
・Leg cut

The standard is a wrist cut.
So why do you self-harm?
tormented by feelings that cannot be helped,
The impulse with nowhere to go is directed towards me, and as a result,
I think it's self-harm.
Others find comfort in the act itself.

I have friends who have had a history of self-harm, but it's usually very normal.
We smile a lot and sometimes joke around together.

Oh, is this something recent?There are times when I think,
"Why did you self-harm?"
I don't want to ask the other person.
"It was painful" may be ego for that person,
why?At the point of asking, it seems to be forced to say "You are wrong".

Personally, I don't think self-harm is suicide.
This may sound strong, but
If it's really painful, isn't it already dead in another way?

Do not self-harm!
Rather than saying that, I don't care even if there are traces of deeds.
I wonder if it's good for me.

Of course it's up to the individual.
I think there are people who are better off staying by your side, but there are also people who are surprisingly able to get back on their feet on their own!

It is true that those who self-harm may be more prone to swaying in some way.
However, I jumped into the train on Monday at the beginning of the week and caused an accident resulting in injury or death.
Rather than causing trouble to many people, isn't it okay to just focus on yourself?
I'll say it even if I'm heartless.
