Information about Points Expiration

We were planning to implement the point expiration system on 6/1, but due to some problems, we will postpone the implementation to 6/7 (Wednesday).

*Points held at 6:6 on 20/00 (Tue.) will be increased by 10%.


Dear members,

Thank you always for using Universe Club.
We have important information regarding the point payment system of the Club.

The Club's point payment system has allowed members to use pre-purchased points for setting fees, etc. However, with the amount of points used increasing, there is a risk of violating Japan's Fund Settlement Law if points continue to be used and stored without a time limit. Therefore, the Club has decided to review the current system.

Overview
All existing and valid points will be converted to carry a 180-day expiration date
However, this comes at a disadvantage to members who may be planning to use the points after 180 days, so we will refund the currents points in cash via bank transfer to those who wish to do so.
Members who agree to convert their existing points to that with a 180-day expiration date will receive an additional 10% bonus on top of their current points.

5/1 Start application from the refund form
5/28 20:00 Deadline for refund applications
6/6: Point transfer operations to be carried out
6/1 Implementation of an expiration date for points
6/2~6/30 Refunds will be processed sequentially.

Caution
We cannot respond to refund requests after May 5th.
Any points previously granted with a time limit are also eligible for a refund.
If there is a discrepancy between the existing points at the time of the refund request and the points at the time of the tally, the points at the time of the tally will be used in the calculation.
We are unable to do partial point refunds. You may only choose to have all points either refunded or converted to points with an expiration date.
In your point usage history, paid points and free points will be displayed separately, but both have an expiration date of 180 days.


We apologize for any inconvenience caused to our members.
All points granted after 6/2 will automatically be given a 180-day expiration date, and will expire after that date.
On the member page, you can see the points before expiry in chronological order.
