Notice of revision of terms and conditions in light of legal changes

Dear Members
This is Kida, the representative of Universe Group.

Thank you for your continued use of our club.
We would like to inform all members about recent legal changes and the resulting changes to our club's rules.

●The Act on Punishment of Sexually Observed Photography (the so-called "photography crime") will come into effect in July 2023

Filming someone in a sexual position without their consent is a criminal offense.

●Crimes such as non-consensual sexual intercourse from July 2023

Even if there is no violence or threat, sexual conduct that takes place in a situation where the other person is unable to consent or refuse can result in criminal liability.

In light of these legal changes, our club has added a new clause to our group-wide regulations.

This agreement
・Respond neutrally after confirming the claims of both parties
・Taking necessary measures at the discretion of the Club, taking into account the facts and objective circumstances.
・The purpose is to ensure the sound operation of the service and the safety of members.
This is a written statement of the above.

Article 10-2 (Troubleshooting)

When a member reports a problem, we will maintain a neutral stance after verifying the claims of both parties, and will endeavor to ensure the member's safety, confirm the facts, and preserve evidence.
We may, at our discretion, suspend use, force withdrawal, or take other necessary measures, after comprehensively considering the submitted evidence, the reasonableness of the content of the report, the circumstances at the time, and other objective circumstances, even if the other party does not admit to the act in question.
Measures under this Article will be taken independently of any judicial decision and with the aim of ensuring the sound operation of our services and the safety of our members.

Our club's philosophy and requests

Our club is not a service that assumes or encourages sexual activity.
We believe that the development of a relationship and the nature of that relationship should be left to the free will and clear consent of both parties.

In the unlikely event that a serious problem regarding consent or filming is reported,
We will confirm the circumstances of both parties and, taking into account the submitted evidence and objective circumstances, we may take necessary measures, including suspending use or forcing withdrawal.
We will also strive to screen our members to prevent honey traps from being set up to blackmail male members with legal backing.

Now that legal thinking has changed, this is to share necessary information so that you do not find yourself at a disadvantage due to ignorance.
I would like to ask all members to once again remember the importance of respecting the other party's wishes and not proceeding with ambiguity.
