【Update】 There have been many cases of people being solicited to fraudulent websites. We will disclose all the sites that lead to these websites.

The number of fraud cases impersonating the Universe Club is on the rise

This is a follow-up to the article I told you about the other day.
The following article was reported the other day.
Please beware of fraudulent websites impersonating Universe Club's parent company.

What is the fraud case impersonating the Universe Group (Universe Club)?

As mentioned above, there have been many cases of fraud involving the unauthorized use of the name and logo of Universe Club (hereinafter referred to as "our company") and our group companies (hereinafter collectively referred to as "our group"). Examples of fraud reported to our company so far include the following:

  1. Posting on social media as an employee or affiliate of our group and soliciting visitors to our company website or stores.
  2. Publishing a website that fraudulently uses our company logo, company name, or company profile page to encourage people to purchase date cards from companies other than our group.
  3. They are trying to gain trust by using the Social Club Association's certification mark without permission.

These activities have absolutely no connection to our company, Universe Group (Universe Club).

A fraud case involving the huge sum of "2,550 million yen" occurred

The following case has recently made the news as a new fraudulent incident.

"Meet women by joining a dating club"… ¥2550 million swindled from a 63-year-old company employee in Gunma.

Neither our group nor any of our group employees or other related parties will solicit or arrange such illegal dates.
If you are suddenly approached by a company you don't recognize, claiming to be the parent company of Universe Club, or are recommended to use a dating service that seems strange, first suspect it is a scam. Do not respond at all.

Unauthorized use of the certification mark of the General Incorporated Association of Social Clubs

The Social Club Association, one of the Universe Group's brands, was established in 2018 and has since been sponsored by not only Universe Clubs but also people who run social clubs across the country.
Meanwhile, it has been discovered that a dating site that is engaging in fraudulent activities and is not certified by any association is using the certification mark of the Dating Club Association without permission.
The certification mark is basically issued only to those who have a direct interview with the representative of the operating company and have passed a rigorous screening process.

Despite this, dating sites that do not conduct any screening are using the certification mark without permission and pretending to be sponsors of the site.

What if you get caught up in a scam?

If persistent solicitation occurs, please consult with your nearest law enforcement agency, a consumer affairs center, or the consultation desk of your local bar association (via phone or other means).

  1. From new non-members

"Actually, I've been asked to pay a large amount of money by a club claiming to be our company to create a membership card, but does your company actually operate an online club?"

We have received the following report.
As I have stated many times before, these actions have absolutely no connection to our group.
Someone claiming to be from our company (there seems to be a pattern where they send a full name with an image attached)
If you receive a message from us, we would appreciate it if you could contact us first.

The link that was used this time is below:

*There is a tendency for Japanese to be used more frequently.
Please keep an eye on this as well.
We are sorry for this situation, even though you always use our service.
I feel bad for this, and I'm sorry.

    Sincerely.

      1. It's exactly the same. I've paid money to a club called Private Dating Club. There are more demands. How much does it cost to activate? It costs money to move the order account. My trust points have gone down, so I'm piling up complaints like 1 point, 60000 yen, etc. It's a hell I can't escape from. And they use the money from the national anonymity exchange as bait. There's no such thing as an exchange. It stops when the exchange point is opened.

      2. Nice to meet you
This time I fell for the above and ended up transferring money. I was asked to pay 1 yen per point because I didn't have enough points in my score, and I paid it as it was their last request, but in the end I couldn't withdraw the money and next time they are asking for more money because they don't have enough VIP rank.
I want my money back immediately

I would like my money returned immediately.

      1. Anonymous
Similar cases have been occurring frequently, but as stated above, our club has no involvement in these fraudulent cases. Since you do not know who is running the scam, you will need to consult with your nearest police station and file a complaint.
I'm very sorry for not being able to help you.

  2. The icon of nearbsex's line is the leader. The receptionist's name is Nozomi! Please search for the woman introduced to you! Thank you. I checked and now I have the same picture as the scammer's, and I have the address and the corporate number. I'm planning to transfer 31 yen via ATM on the 10000st, and nearbsex and the receptionist said they will refund it immediately. Can you really refund it immediately?

  3. Nearbysex (https://sexjp.cc/#/Home) is a scam club.
    Conclusion: never transfer money.
The company profile includes the name of the person in charge, contact address, phone number, and email address (a standard Gmail address).
The company profile is a fake, replicating the company profile of another company in the same business.
On Nearbysex, before you can meet a woman, you have to clear three stages of activation (hereinafter referred to as "activation") (apparently the site is run to make profits by helping AV video companies increase click rates and sales of adult goods) three times before you can go on a date.
Funding needed to clear the third round: women will need 3 million yen, men 350 million yen.
    Method: As follows
First, we will ask you for proof of identity and bank account information.
The other person will never reveal their identity.
Even if an invisible person says they will definitely pay you back, you should not transfer money. It might be okay the first time, but it will be hell from the third time.
The first time (1 acquisitions) was 15 yen, and initially I was refunded 10,000 yen including profits (the increase was due to acquisitions): Up to this point, the introduction woman (Mieko) was replaced by a specialist
The second time (2 times), I transferred 30 yen, transferred 2 yen (lucky order fee incurred during the process) and received a refund of 1.8 yen (profit of 4.3 yen).
    3回目5.2万円(アク45回目)を振りこみ、最初は8万円,19万円,2万円,68万円,13万円,188万円,318万円のラッキー注文となり、途中で止めてたくても投資資金と利益は返金されない。結果、振込額累計622万円でした。
Finally, a lucky order of 570 million yen was placed. If the 570 million yen is not paid, the investment money and profits will not be refunded. The name, address, telephone number, and identification of the person in charge will not be disclosed until the end.
Would you trust an investment system that doesn't allow for a formal written contract?
*Transfer accounts are bought and sold. (A tactic used to scam accounts)
Once the money is transferred, the company will immediately withdraw it from the account.
Or they will be transferred to other accounts.

  4. Newly added Playboy Club

    The damage included:
When registering as a member, you are told that money is required and you are forced to pay

I was told there was a data entry error and that it would cost money to repair the data.

The data recovery was completed, and when I tried to withdraw the money, I found that I did not have enough ranks to withdraw the money again, so I had to make another transfer.

At this time, I made the final payment because it was the last request. However, next time, I was asked for more money because I did not have the VIP rank to withdraw the full amount.

The first app I used was X, then I moved to LINE, and the conversations were moved to Telegram.

The above is the actual flow of events for those who were victimized.
If you have been a victim of a similar crime, we encourage you to file a complaint with your nearest police station.

  5. The content is the same, but you pay extra for it.

    Playboy Club
    Playboy Club

There are also many sites with this name.
There are no images etc. as they were not provided.

  6. I added LINE through X's DM, then I was moved to Telegram, and I transferred 5000 yen to join the Playboy Club, and a few days later I was told to transfer 3 yen and that it would be refunded, so I transferred it, but then I made a mistake in input and my trust points decreased, so it took 10 yen to get it back. If I didn't, they threatened to expose my personal information and charge me a huge amount, so I couldn't escape. I transferred 10 yen as instructed, and then they said I would get it back with another transfer of 20 yen and a final 10 yen. I haven't transferred the 20 yen and 10 yen, but should I ignore them and consult a lawyer?

    1. Please feel free to contact us.
Even if it is only 10 yen, fraud is fraud, so we recommend that you contact the nearest police or a lawyer as soon as possible.
